The How To Concerts team saw some exciting changes this summer! With our Account Executive Amber working from Nashville, Jolene and Luke are joined in Green Bay by our newest team member – Jen Buhrow. As the Entertainment Logistics Coordinator, Jen will be helping with contracts, calendars, and timelines to make sure your show is a success. Let’s learn more about Jen!

Jen, why don’t you tell us a little about yourself to kick things off.

I’m from Appleton, WI! I got my degree in Laboratory Sciences but quickly realized it wasn’t what I was truly passionate about and decided to pursue a career in the music industry. I love camping, hiking, learning how to do new things (like turning my SUV into a camper!), reading and training my chocolate lab pup, Louie.

How did you get interested in the music biz?

I went to my first concert when I was 12 and was immediately hooked on live music. I only really started to pursue it as a career when shows started to open up again after the pandemic and I realized life is too short to not do something you love. I started helping artists with merch and promotion whenever they came to town, met a ton of really knowledgeable and kind people who offered really great advice, and soon worked my way to VIP activation and festival work before I was approached by Jolene!

What is your favorite thing about living in Wisconsin?

I love our music festivals and getting to experience every season. The autumns here are unmatched!

What would be your first questions after being cryogenically frozen for 1000 years?

Did we ever figure out that global warming thing? Also did they ever bring back The OA?

What music are you listening to right now for funsies?

This week I’m diving into some of my favorite sets from this year’s Mile of Music – The Stews, Radkey and Walden. Artists that are on my constant rotation are Lights, Glass Animals, Connor Price and Odesza.
