How To

Book Concerts

BOOK    ⮕    PLAN    ⮕    PREPARE

One of the most common questions we get when it comes to booking a concert or large-scale entertainment is “Where do I start? It can feel a bit overwhelming.

No problem. That’s what How To Concerts is here for. We are a middle buyer. We can walk you and your team through the entire process, so always feel free to contact us or set up a free consultation. If you’ve never used a middle buyer before, you might want to read this article – “I Should Have Used A Middle Agent.”

Below, we’ve gathered some of our best blog posts to teach you how to book, plan, and prepare for your successful show. This is a three part series, so be sure to check out Part 2 – Plan and Part 3 – Prepare. We also suggest that you download our Successful Show Planning Guide at the very bottom of this page.

Let’s start with some basic terms…

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE:

Have more questions? No problem. There is no “stupid question” when you’re working with a team you trust. Contact us and we’ll clear up any confusion.

Now, let’s dive into one of the best parts of event planning – the artist selection process! When your team is ready to start brainstorming, remember that it’s not all about popularity. Budget, routing/geography, streaming numbers and ticket sales history are all important things when it comes to determining the best artist for your community.

ARTIST SELECTION:

Also, feel free to use our artist website search to aid in your brainstorming, but know that we are working daily to update prices. These fluctuate often, especially with rising artists. Always double-check pricing with us so we can verify the most current price.

TIGHT BUDGET? TRY THESE STRATEGIES:

Keep checking our social media, too (links at the top or bottom of this page), as we have a weekly “Rising Artist” series. Here is our playlist of artists we’ve predicted would rise, and who we think are the next big thing. We’ve historically predicted the rise of so many artists, including Billie Eilish, Khalid, Lizzo, Doja Cat, The Kid Laroi, Dan + Shay, bbno$, and more.

If your community has COVID concerns and is wary of in-person, full-capacity events, here are some safer concepts.

SOCIALLY-DISTANCED INFO:

Ultimately, we want your show to be a success. Choosing the artist is the first step in the process and we are here to help. Next, you’ll learn about planning your event and preparing for the unexpected!
