The How To Concerts team is starting 2025 off by welcoming an amazing new team member! Jolene, Luke and Jen are so excited to welcome Alanna Phillip to the team as Entertainment Operations Coordinator. Alanna will be helping with contracts, paperwork, marketing, and approvals to ensure our clients have a low-stress event planning experience. Let’s get to know Alanna!

Alanna, why don’t you tell us a little about yourself to kick things off.

I am a small town Wisconsinite, born and raised. I went to school for Arts Management because I absolutely love everything music and event planning related. I thrive off of sunshine, coffee, good music, and quality time with my family… and I absolutely despise cooking.

What is your favorite thing about living in Wisconsin?

My favorite thing about living in Wisconsin is the fact that we get to experience all four seasons. Though I do thrive in the summertime and winter is my least favorite, I couldn’t imagine the holiday season without a beautiful snowfall.

What would be your first questions after being cryogenically frozen for 1000 years?

  1. What kind of music should I be listening to right now?
  2. Where can I get the best iced latte?
  3. What new words are the cool kids using now?

What do you do in your free time?

In my free time, I play Country music! If I’m not at a gig or rehearsing for the next upcoming performance, you will probably find me camping or hanging out with my fiancé and our golden retriever, Riggs.

How did you get interested in the music biz?

I’ve been interested in all things music related since I began to walk and talk. That love and passion has continued to grow right alongside me, allowing me to experience a wide range of opportunities from the lens of a performer and an event planner. As I started thinking about careers and “big girl jobs,” I knew that I wanted something that fit right in with what I am most passionate about, and the music business was the most perfect fit!

What are you listening to right now?

Though this answer changes weekly, I am currently loving all Avery Anna and Ella Langley songs.

What are you looking forward to most in 2025?

2025 is filled with so many new opportunities and adventures! I am currently in the middle of planning my wedding and preparing to get married in August!! The rest of my summer will be filled with full-band gigs and many other weddings! Other than that, I am extremely excited to begin my journey here at How To Concerts. I know there is a lot to learn, and I am so ready to jump in and hit the ground running. Overall, I know this year is going to be filled with new experiences and so much growth!
