2016 was quite an adventure! We started a company. We created a brand. We built something we are so proud of. We couldn’t have done it without our clients, the artists and agents we’ve worked with, encouragement from family, and a lot of caffeine. We are truly grateful for all we’ve accomplished in our first year in business.
Shout-outs
To our clients: Even more important than the amazing shows we worked on are the amazing people we worked with. To the college students and staff, non-profit theater programmers, arena managers, and festival coordinators we work with, you rock. We appreciate your passion, enthusiasm, and all the hard work you put into your events. Together, we’ve created some spectacular shows.
To the agents and artists: It’s a blast working with amazing entertainment industry people like you. You put up with multiple phone calls from us a day, hundreds of emails from us per week, and a ton of negotiating. Without our relationships, we wouldn’t be able to do what we do.
2016 Highlights
Our winning 2016 events ranged from seasoned pros Jeremih and The Head and the Heart, to newcomers D.R.A.M. and Aparna Nancherla. We did a few EDM shows this semester, with big names like Marshmello and Carnage, to up and comers Robert Delong and Cheat Codes. We certainly did a lot of Hip Hop shows too, ranging from Lil Yachty to Tory Lanez to Ace Hood. We look forward to a lot of Hip Hop shows coming in 2017 as well.
Pop artists like MKTO and Magic! energized us. Rock acts like Simple Plan brought back some great memories. Country favorites Dan + Shay hosted a sold out show for us in 2016, and we look forward to two more shows with them already scheduled for 2017! Other Country acts we worked with included Brothers Osborne, Drake White and The Big Fire, Natalie Stovall, Kelleigh Bannen and Ruthie Collins performing as a trio, and several more. Matt Bellassai made us laugh… again. Kevin Olusola spoke to our hearts while simultaneously impressing us with his musical talent.
Most of all, we’ve had a blast! We traveled all over the country to see events and meet people. And the fun is just beginning.
During the holidays, we took a little break, enjoyed some family time, and got buried under a ton of Wisconsin snow. Soon the crazy 2017 list of events will begin. We are so excited about what is to come in the new year. Happy New Year, from our family to yours!
